We bought the Celestron Smartphone adapter as this was something we felt was necessary to try. We have been wanting to photo birds and it’s very difficult to do with a simple cell phone. In getting this we were not expecting crazy quality, just something that we can look at later and help us identify the birds.
Out of all the different adapters I have seen to attach a cell phone to an optical device this one seemed best. It’s also made by Celestron and fits our 80mm scope perfectly. It has three different axis for you to adjust the image. It’s pretty impressive and does a good job, some of the parts seem a little delicate so treat it nicely.
