While in Bobcaygeon and exploring Ontario as we do, I heard the sound of the hornet buzz and then saw a small hornet just walking around. This little hornet on the march walked across the deck and over the camera.
I know little about hornets but found this little one interesting. It was mostly black but had white stripes on it.
Hornets and other cool insects can be really fascinating when you take the time to see them at their scale.
