Lions Park

It was hard to resist saying the name Coboconk! The name of this place is just fun to say. We were on our way to Balsam Lake Provincial Park when we drove past this place. Quen asked that we stop so we did. They had docks along the water where people can just go sit, fish or just take in the environment. What I really like about this place was this little area they had off to the side that appeared to be specifically for waterfowl. They basically built these birds a small enclosed beach and it was really cool.

Coboconk is located on the pristine waters of Balsam Lake. It is home to Canada’s Fresh Water Summit, which is the highest elevation of navigable water in Canada and third highest in the world.
