Hello and welcome to the Wrong Side.
I’m honestly not sure how we got here, according to Jeremy it was my idea. I am a middle-aged woman who spent the pandemic, becoming healthy, if you can believe it. I’ve lost 60 pounds since January 2020 and have successfully kept it off (since the writing of this post). The idea is to have exercise as a by-product of the things I enjoy. I am an avid walker; I would much rather walk than drive.
Jeremy decides he’s going to get pigeons and they are intelligent and endearing. I did not see that coming and now I am a bird person. I had no idea how interesting these creatures would become to me, how staring and hearing their calls gives me peace and allows me to focus without the stresses that are everyday life. THEN, I look down and around, there are wildflowers, trees, mushrooms, insects, butterflies, snakes (yikes) and the night sky. There are so many things to identify, consider and learn, and now I have a place to share my experiences.
I am pretty excited, I did not see that coming!
