Chippawa Creek Conservation Area

This was a nice place to go for a walk. We used a Nature Pass to swipe in so it made it super easy.

There is a bunch of campsites here but there isn’t much for privacy while camping, we found three sites that were good.

Another busy local conservation area that I was totally unaware of, they have a nice beach with room for quite a few people to set up picnic areas. We walked the handful of trails available, they are not solely for walking, we needed to move for bikes a few times. We listened to birds singing away, I did get to see a fledgling warbling vireo squawk for some food. I did get to see him however, he noticed me too and off he went, no time to photograph. There is a nice boardwalk type area and a lovely balcony with wrap-around seating that crept out onto the water. It gave us an opportunity to get close to the Fragrant Water Lily as most were too far into the water to get clear shot.
